This Hi-Matic was part of my grandfathers collection, I fell in love with this camera after doing some research about it on line. This was the first “point-and-shoot” camera to us infrared autofocusing! In 1981! I find this camera super nifty. It gives me similar feelings as a Polaroid SX-70 (which my grandfather also had in his collection), bar the instant gratification of an immediate print of your snap. Its just barely not pocketable, but very backpackable which works well for me since I always have a backpack.
